Question on the Lyman 8 Station Turret Press?

    Hi:
Has anyone used the Lyman 8 Station Turret Press?
I would like to hear what you think of the priming system and how well it does or does not work.
I have an opportunity to purchase one and would like to hear form someone who has firsthand experience.

    Thanks,

    Terrytm

I have one and i love it. I load rifle on it. The priming set up can be a hassle for some. Mine worked pretty good. I took it off. Since i got a RCBS bench prime. One thing i didn't like about the Lyman priming set up. Is the location. It gets in the way. If it was off to the side it would be more handy.

Great press, and yeah the primer system on it and the T7 both suck. I just prime off the press or on my Lee Challenger. My friend has one and we set it up for 45LC and 45ACP. Do like the extra station, and it’s well made.

When Midway has them on sale again, I’m jumping on one. But hard to justify a Lyman 8 when the T7 is just $20 more and free shipping right now.

I'll be needing that for squirrels and such.....
