Primer System on Lyman 8 Hole Turret Press

Has anyone used the Lyman 8 hole turret press?
Dose the primer system work well?
I have the opportunity to buy one and would like to know how well they work.

I iI have only heard that the primer system left a little to be desired.
I prime off the press, BUT I do like my layman 8.

It took some getting used to on mine. I used it for large rifle. I took it off since i got my RCBS bench prime. The Lyman one does tend to get in the way. If it was mounted to the side it would be better.

I wasn’t impressed with the priming system in my T7s or the Lyman BS AA 8. But I like the presses a lot. Really want the AA 8 when they get back in stock. Can’t say a bad thing about either of these heavy duty presses.

Like others, I just prime off press. Or I do like priming on my Lee Challenger or Classic Cast. Only thing I like priming on besides my old RCBS stripper primer set up.
