180 grain cast in Kimber K6

My mold cast 180 grain flat nose bullet. It worked in the rifle very good and the GP 100. Now the new equation with the 2 inch Kimber. I need a load or google site for a 38 special plus P load for this little 2 inch barrel six gun. Powders on hand and not much else to choose from now are HP 38; HS6; Titegroup and Unique. I bought this for minute of bad guy at fairly close range. Going to order a 125 grain mold but already have lots of these cast and on hand. Any help please. Not asking for a load that isn’t published. Just my books don’t show it.

If you can't find reputable published data for it-- I'd just get and make a run of the heavy-ish bullets listed for it with your powders.
Getting off into uncharted waters for the 180 can have some issues with pressure and OAL.

In the 80s; after I blew up a 7.62NATO (.308Win.) Springfield M1A while trying to make it into a .30-06:
I tend not to push the envelope on that sort of thing any more.

I figure if I want close to .357Mag performance---
Rather than making my .38 into a .357Mag, its smarter, safer, and sometimes cheaper to just buy one.

I believe the K-6 is a .357 Magnum. Of course I could be wrong.........

I have used an RCBS 38-175 RN that weighed in at 181 grains with Gas Check, but that is as close as I came in a 38. I used 3.9 grains of WW-231, which is the middle of the load range published by RCBS for this bullet/powder combination. RCBS Cast Bullet Manual No.1 recommends 3.7-4.2 grains of WW-231 with this bullet. My OAL was 1.50".

HP-38 is now identical to WW-231, so you can use that data with your boolit, at least for a practice load.
