    Help identifying Mould

I recently purchased a box of random reloading equipment and found an interesting mold. It says Ideal New Haven on it but doesn't have a number or anything. I have determined it is .324 and 170 grains. What I find interesting is that inside the mold it has a brass dovetail in it. I've never seen one like this before. Any ideas or information would be much appreciated

Reminds me of the mold I just asked about. I found listings for mine at Dixie gun works. They were selling for around $69. I just traded mine and 2 pounds of pewter to a member here for a 3.5 10 gauge lee loader.

That's a rather neat mould, someone made their own brass insert for an original Ideal block, made their own sprue plate also. The workmanship looks very nice. Cast a few boolits and see what they look like, then decide what to do with it.

What is the bottom of the mold? Is it moveable, possibly making it a nose pour? Someone did a nice job on that.

Saw an Ideal loading tool repaired like that on ebay a while back. A good way to make it usable again after someone thoughtfully made a sinker mould out of it.
