    Case trimmer 577/450 martini Henry

    I am looking for a case trimmer to handle the case . anyone on the forum knows of one. it could be a actual 577 case or 24 gage magtech brass

    Don't know if this will help, but the shell holder is the same as the 50BMG.
    I'm sure something can be rigged up.
    I've been hoping for a MH to come my way.
    I'll need the same information if one does.

    My old Lyman Accutrimmer will trim the MH case, using the .45 pilot, after I have resized the neck--with both Magtech and Jamison cases. The cutter is unfortunately not large enough to trim the .577 Snider, plus, a custom pilot would also be needed.
    To trim Snider cases, I use a Harbor Freight mini chop saw with a homemade case cradle for 1st trim, which requires the case to be rotated once to complete the cut, then I finish with a file.
