    .358" in 9x19 ?

I've loaded 9x19 but not with cast bullets. I just bought this NOE mold off the S&S forum this last week. 358-128-SWC three cavity. With my alloy they drop at .360". I put them through a .358" push-through die and lube with LLA.

Will they work out ok in the 9x19?

Out of my stash of primers... rapidly dwindling stash... does that make you sick or what?

That depends entirely on the chamber of your pistol. Make up a couple of dummy rounds and see how they drop in. If they drop in cleanly and will feed from the magazine, you should be good to go.

I have used boolits up to .360 in pistols with "generous" chambers. I have other pistols with tight chambers that nothing larger than .357 will fit into.
You will have to try them out and see how they work.

I use .358" boolits in my M&P with good effect. But as the above post mentions, check a loaded round in your chamber to see if it will drop in easily. If it drags at all you don't want to go that big.

My default size for all 9mm pistols is .358.

Have you slugged your barrel to see what the actual bore diameter is?

If that's the NOE SWC, I have that exact mold, and my mold drops 'em at .360...and it's my favorite for 9mm.
    I size them to .357

    I second that emotion.

I size ALL 9MM bullets at .358 for various pistols through the years.

My Luger will take .359 no sweat, my SIG P6 may take .358 but is iffy. My BHP likes .357. Your gun will let you know, but you'll have to try a few first to see.

Funny how many so called 9mm are really .357 groove. Lead many a shooter astray...and to bad leading

Hardly a semi wadcutter but if onset of taper is seated flush with cartridge case mouth and if the loaded round chambers, they should work.
To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, the trouble with many shooting experts is not that they're ignorant; its just that they know so much that isn't so.

Each gun has its own preference. My Ruger likes .3565 but my European 9mm's need .359 and .360 for best accuracy.

My only 9mm is a Luger but also loading for my granddaughter's S&W compact 9mm. I'll do as advised and load half a dozen dummies to try in both guns.

Figured if .358" was too big I could always load them in .38 Special.

    thanks for the thoughts!!

Hopefully the primers aren’t Remington 1 1/2s. If they are, keep pressures on the milder side.

Running .3757 here in the glock platform. When I tried .356 we had keyholes in the target at 30 feet. As advised all guns vary as to what they like to devour.

I have 9mm handguns from S&W, Springfield(two very different guns), Beretta, and RIA.
The S&W is a 929 revolver and will accept nearly anything in any OAL since it headspaces off the moon clips. It isn't picky about diameter since anything large will get sized leaving the cylinder throat.
The Beretta has a larger groove diameter and a very generous chamber which needs larger diameter boolits for best accuracy.
The RIA is a 1911 and likes .357. I haven't tried larger sizes in it because it is the last 9mm handgun to arrive and the ammo I have loaded for the others works fine in it.
The two Springfields are a Range Officer(1911) and an XDm target model. Both of these have tight chambers that will not accept larger boolit sizes.
I settled on .357 since that will feed in all the handguns I have and give decent, if not the best accuracy in every handgun. It works surprisingly well in the Beretta with the larger chamber and bore.
