    Powder options

    I shoot a 500gr conical in my muzzleloaders, but powders are getting hard to find. Between Pyrodex RS and Select which do you prefer for heavy conicals? 80gr of select with an oversized lubed fiber patch under the bullet seems to work well, would select give better performance or about the same?

    Of the two, I much prefer Select.
    Gives me better consistency shot to shot accuracy.
    Failure is not an Option
