Auction: Savage 110 stock and barrel

Up for auction is a stock and barrel from an older Savage 110. The gun was originally a 30-06 blind magazine. The stock was a plain birch stock. I didn't like the looks so I had it hydro-dipped in a black burl color. The barrel is the original 30-06 barrel, I believe it is 22 inch. The front and rear sights were removed. The front sight hole did not accept a plug screw, so my gunsmith ground off the top of the screw. It looks ok, but not like new. I had my gunsmith look at the barrel through a borescope, and he said it looked like it was not shot much. Outside looks used but ok. I bought the gun used, shot it maybe 10 times as an 06, then decided to use the action for something else. I cannot get the pics to upload, but if you text me I will be happy to send pictures. (570) 412-4967 I really do not know what this is worth to somebody, but figured maybe somebody can use it. I will let it run until Tuesday March 2 at 12 noon Eastern time. Shipping will be on top of the winning bid, so keep that in mind when bidding. Minimum bid of 10 bucks please.

The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naïve and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair.― H.L. Mencken

So I remembered that the stock had some whitish stuff close to the barrel channel. I went this morning and checked it out again. Appears like the paint peeled slightly away from the edge by the barrel channel. I rubbed my hand over it to make sure it is not loose. I really don't think any bore will pull away. I included a picture of the worst spot. If anybody wants to retract a bid because of this I understand. I do not intend to misrepresent the product in any way. Dipping was done by a local guy (Central Pa) that also does turkey calls. I forget his name. He puts a clear coat on top of the paint which was too bright to suit me so I took some steel wool to it to dull it down a bit.

So I think I finally worked out how to insert pictures. Here is where the front sight was done. The rear has filler screws.
