Recently, I had discussion with a friends, and everybody had his own idea about cal. 45 boolit for various cartridges. After some head scratching, I came up with this design that incorporates all features required for BP revolvers, as well as center-fire cartridges, like 45 Colt, 45 Schofield and 455 Webley/Eley.
So, here we have .457" dia, 255 grain, FP and HB:
Since the mold will be Cramer style, bottom pins for hollow base could be flipped, or separate pins for solid base used, solid base boolit will have 290 grain.
