WTB: I need a .311 sizing ball for RCBS 7.62 sizing die

As the title states. I bought a die set but it only came with the 308 ball and I need the 311 ball.

Will look at complete set if price is right.

Was this a new set, because it should have came with both.
If new and it was not included call RCBS and they will most likely send you one.
    Failure is not an Option

No it was not new, it was bought from a member here as advertised without the 311 ball. I sent RCBS an email and I got a reply back that I am supposed to contact the customer service department of the company involved? Then they sent me to the RCBS website and the very same e-mail I had used. the only other contact info is a phone number that goes nowhere because apparently the phone system is down. And has been for some time now. Keep in mind that RCBS is now owned by Vista Outdoor, Ring a bell? The same outfit that owns Remington, CCI, Winchester, Speer, Alliance powder. See a pattern here. They are buying up everything associated with guns in this country. And then making it go away.

I've called them at 800-533-5000 in the past. I've had nothing but great, often free, small parts service from them. GF

If I may ask what are you loading if it's 7.62x39 or 54R use the .308 expander it's not going to hurt anything and you'll have abit tighter neck tension. I use a .308 ball for my 7.62x39 no problems.

I have some .315 lead ball if that will help. They will squeeze down to 311.

Not sure what you mean Rusty? I need a 311 sizing ball for the sizing die of this set. This is to set the case throat size for the bullet.

So you are reloading the standard 311 bullets for 7.62x39 for an Ak47 using a 308 sizing ball?

The .311" expander button (to fit on the expander/decapper stem of the resizer die) is what the OP is looking for. In the terms that the industry uses, it expands rather than "sizes".

What does the expander ball measure? what is the OD? Is it .305? or thereabouts.

The .311 expander I need measures .311 as far as I know. I have got one coming, RCBS came through for me.
