    USGI Parts Interchangeable?

    Will Iver Johnson carbines accept USGI parts?
    314th Air Divsion
    20th Tactical Air Support Squadron
    RVN 67-68 & 68-69

    Iver Johnson Plainfield Carbines will accept G.I. parts but they may need to be fitted.

    I put a new USGI hammer , hammer spring and hammer spring plunger in a 1980's vintage IJ carbine and it went right in.
