Lee Classic Loader for .32 Colt???

Did Lee ever offer a Classic Loader for the .32 Colt Short or Long? I am not talking about the .32 Colt New Police.

No. I've never seen one. They did make one for .32 S&W Long and Colt NP. As you know, different critter.

Here you are, Ebay, several years ago, I didn't get it. If I remember, I dropped out around $75-80. Wish now I'd went for it.

Thanks. I guess I will start checking at gun shows and mom and pop gun shops. I have seen the boxes but never paid attention until you (kootne) made me aware of them.

Wow, that's a new one on me too! I haven't needed one in that caliber since I sold my old Marlin 1893 in 32 with dual firing pins (yes, I wish I never had) and my Winchester low wall that had a CF block installed. Of course then you'd also have to find a heeled bullet mould and a way to lube it.

Although dies for the 32 Colt can be hard to find (and expensive when you do) you can get into loading the cartridge for not much money.

Before I purchased proper dies for the 32 Colt I used a letter O drill bushing pressed into a hogged out die body as a sizing die for sizing, a 223 shellholder and tapered punch to bell yeh case mouth and seated the bullets with a 32 acp seater die.

I loaded nearly 1000 rounds set up like that before a set of 32 Colt dies fell in to my lap.

Ammo fed, fired and functioned flawlessly in my Marlin 1892 and was quite accurate to boot.

Nice. I have been thinking about that route.
