    No ...he just retired a month or so ago. I wish I would have known before he closed up shop.

    Ya found out myself.
    He did my 220 sub mold for my 10mm

    What a great mold.

    Found out he retired when i tried to get a custom for my 454 casull.

    Was told he packed up shop last week of Dec 20 1st week Jan of 21 .

    Wish him the best in retirement.

    Making moulds is more than a bunch of machines and tooling... it's the guy choosing the tooling for the job and running the machines. If there is an apprentice who is smart and talented enough to learn at the master's feet, the business might continue, but there are no guarantees! I know of several stories of old makers turning their stuff over to another user with less than satisfactory results. One maker I know of did it twice, he sold his stuff to a corporation who wasted it, then came out of retirement, started over, and had the same results!
