I will miss hearing him. Sadly I don't see any of the conservative host's out there remotely capable of filling his shoes. I don't begrudge Hannity but can't listen to him long. He should take note of how Rush would let people he didn't agree with voice their opinion and then shoot them down with facts and logic. Hannity just shouts over them so they can't finish their point and in my opinion that solves nothing. Much truth to "The Voice of Reason" moniker.
He was always 4-5 steps of the Dumocrats and will be missed by millions. If former President Trump was in office, he would lay at state in the Rotunda.
Rest in Peace Rush, a truly great American.

I turned 70 just 4 days after Rush. I am going miss him greatly. He was a great American and easily the most inspiring media voice. Vaya con Dios, Rush.
I have lost a friend. He will be sorely missed.
He spoke for us and he did it so well, he will be missed.
We had a guy here in Philadelphia who was almost as good but he's not on radio anymore, just podcasts.

Yes, the left is dancing around the “May Pole” but the legacy Rush left behind will endure!
The one storm cloud I worry about is the concept of “media fairness” where one hour of conservative coverage would have to met with one hour of liberal group think. That would break conservative talk radio.

Rush was a perfect example of God placing a strong man in EXACTLY the place and time where he is needed most. We should all be ready to fill God's call if given that opportunity.
I loved the man without ever knowing him personally. I do believe that any of us who are fans, knew him truly. jd

So sorry for your dad.
When I first started listening to Rush I was single living at home. Now I have my own family. I'll remember where I was when I heard of his passing like when the twin towers were hit and when dad told me mom was going off dialysis.
