    Finn Mod 39 Feeding Issue

I have a Finn 39 that has a feeding issue. The interrupter was worn so I replaced that. It fixed the interrupter release issue BUT... The follower does not push the released cartridge up against the feed lips on the receiver. I took all apart and everything looks newish and it is very clean. I assembled without stock and magazine is tight against receiver but cartridge is not held up to receiver at all. The front of cartridge takes a nose dive and catches just below the feed ramp.
I have fiddled and searched and searched and fiddled with no joy.
    Thanks for any help.
    Jay

Did you check the flat spring in the follower?

The circled one is what pushed the nose of the bullet up, and if it's damaged or weak it will cause feeding issues.

Actually all the moving parts and springs(in follower unit) look brand new. Both springs are mounted solid and feel "right" to me. I borrowed a friends Mosin and compared followers. his tips the nose up 1/8" more than mine. His feeds sloppy ugly but it does feed every time.

Did you try his follower in your rifle?
