I think if memory serves me right. I ran some tight group loads in my Mosin at 6 grains. No ill effects.

Cratered primers are not always a sign of excessive pressure , it can also mean an oversize firing pin hole . I have bolt rifles that crater every round , from reduced loads to jazzed up hot stuff . I have bushed some which fixed that , others I just leave and live with it because it causes no harm .
JimP, Look in the sticky section above for lots of info about using pistol/ shotgun powders in rifles.

I use Tight group in both 30-30, and 30-06. Works great. For the 06, I load 6 grs. under the Lee 170.
Deplorable infidel
Any more of those reloads left?
I would not fire them.
Instead, you should just pull the bullets on them and dump the powder.
You could then reload them using different powder.
