    Protect these Butts

    I never set these crescent butt plates down, so they won't get scratched. I made a few trips to Tandy Leather, and made these butt plate covers. Four more to go.

    An additional benefit comes in the addition of the leather pads the shoulder from that crescent butt plate that some find objectionable. Also you get a little bit of extra length of pull. All in all, very nice. BTW, the basket weave stamping is a nice touch!

    Practible, and very nice craftmanship.
    If a 41 won't stop it, I wouldn't bet my life on a 44.
