Some of y’all haven’t looked and seen what they’re going for on gunbroker. Supply and demand. I doubt any of us would sell any of ours much cheaper knowing we can’t replace them for less. This is a case of where the grasshopper gets to benefit from the ants unpreparedness. I have little sympathy. Let’s just be glad is primers right now not critical medicine and food...

I am proud of our two local shops who sell reloading supplies. Even knowing what was coming, they stayed at normal prices until they were out of primers. I do know one of the two who has an extremely limited supply. You can't buy more than one or two hundred at a time, and don't be back next week asking for more. He knows his customers and is trying his best to keep them going.
Let's face it, recreational shooting for the majority of people who got caught short on primers is on hold for now.

When I relayed this to my son, his thoughts are not printable on a public forum but I agree with him. He is absolutely correct.
Times are tough and maintaining an honest profit margin is important. However, stealing from your customers is not a good, long term strategy
There are some local yocals doing the same type of price gouging. But I know who they are and they will never get my business again in the future.
I wonder if they’ll trade primers for 2 teenagers both come with an Xbox.........

If you are in CO turn them in for gouging during an emergency. Covid is a pandemic and recognized as such. I turned in CTD last time. No idea if it helped but I think they got fined.
Sellers will stop asking outrageous prices for items when buyers stop PAYING outrageous prices.
As long as there are idiots out there willing to pay the asking price, there will be people willing to take their money.
