Yes, dip to the top band or so.
I use strait LLA heated up in a fondue mini crock pot.
Stand on a cookie sheet to dry a few days. Once dried, they cleanly come off the 'puddle' of LLA. Before that, the puddle is still soft and they just smear and make a mess.
Then I use a plastic putty knife and scrape the dried puddles and deposit back into the pot for reuse.
Probably not fast enough if your needing thousands right away or weekly,,, but I keep well ahead and it works for me...

With the Keith bullet for magnum level loads having a large lube groove you might try using a Q-tip to apply the LLA in the lube groove. I hold the bullet by the nose and swap a liberal amount around the bullet then set on base on wax paper to dry.

What kind of trouble will I get from this? I cast some boolits and lubed them with Lee LA. Then I changed my mind and ran 'em through the lube sizer and applied Carnauba Red. Anyone?

I tried out some more 45/45/10 and dusted some with hbn and moly.
Still leaded at the muzzle.Velocity was up to 1400fps.
