Realistic INC scopes

I had one of these come on a 218 Bee (Winchester) that I still own. I believe it was very advanced for its day. It was a 6x with a post and crosshairs. I remember that it was somewhat foggy so I put it up for sale. I don't recall how much I got, but that it was waaaayy more than I would have thought. It had to do with the sunshade IIRC (which yours has on it also).

Is it Realistic INC or Realist INC ? Realist INC is listed in Old Rifle Scopes. Based in Menomonie, Wis. , imported quality scopes from 1965 to 1974. Sunshades $6.95 extra. In 1968 worked with Jim Leatherwood to produce the first ART scopes. One has a sunshade similar to yours.

Is the eye piece missing ?
