"Joined Dates" are deceiving if you factor-in "lurk" dates.
Gorgeous, these are fun.

If your mind goes blank don't forget to turn off the sound!
How do the bores look? Sharp rifling? Pitted? Erosion? Muzzle wear from cleaning rod? Thanks.
PM sent on the one marked 1873.

Muzzles both appear to be nice and clean. No major dings and dents just patina similar to the rest of the rifles
Thanks for the PM to answer my questions - I will have to pass as I'm looking for a 45/70 trapdoor - I had one purchased (I thought) but the deal fell through do to expense of FFL transfer from Kalifornia where the seller lives - I know - they (originals) are antiques and don't require FFL - hmmm.
Thankyou again - if I was set up to load 50/70, they look like a great project!
Bump to the top for a couple of interesting rifles!
Jim
Could you comment on the cost to just have either rifle shipped out of Kalifornia if they are out there ?

Male Guanaco out in dry lakebed at 10,800 feet south of Arequipa.
Only a nice Uberti 1873 in 45 Colt or maybe a Thompson in 45 ACP
Cash added on my end of course. Maybe a nice spanking new Uberti cap and ball in 44 plus cash on your end.
Thanks!
Good morning
PM on the rifle with the hammer screw & 3 barrel bands.

The 523 Marked rifle is sold.
The second rifle is still available.
California does not require firearms be shipped from an FFL, only TO an FFL.
I have an officer's model H&R 45-70 trapdoor just gathering dust. PM me if you are interested in a deal.
