    ,225 Winchester PC size?

I have a boxed set for the .225 Winchester, it has a number 6 priming chamber. I don't have a manual that shows the correct PC and adapter ring for the .225 and I don't have a case to check it against. Anyone for sure the right PC and adapter?

Dan, I thought I knew the terms associated with firearms ... but I don’t have a clue what you are talking about.
If this a chamber issue .... SAAMI lookup

John Boy, sorry I was speaking a reloading dialect know as "310", the hand tools for reloading back in the dark ages, a PC is the priming chamber and the adapter ring screws into the aluminum style handles to set them up for the correct cartridge.

IIRC, the 225 Winchester's parent case is the 219 Zipper, which has the 30-30 as the parent case. So if all those assumptions are correct a #6 PC should work for you.

I'll do some digging to see if I can find any published info identifying what the PC for the 225 Winchester.

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.

#7 PC... I don’t have old manuals handy to look up adaptor ring.

OOPS! Both PC and adaptor are #6. I just called up the proper pixels and electrons from my laptop!

No problem TD... for some reason I have this insatiable urge to get involved with every 310 conversation that goes by. Do you think I need some help, or an intervention or something?

I keep threatening to sort out my 310 holdings, consolidate them down to what I am likely to ever need, then sell or swap off the rest. Now if I can just get a round tuit.

It’s not like being retired and stuck at home most of the time with the Kung Flu pandemic going on, I couldn’t find time if I tried. I just have a bad case of lazy adze, I guess.

Froggie, that is what I'm right smack dab in the middle of doing! Getting rid of a buncha 310 stuff, molds, even guns. Trying to not leave such a conglomeration of STUFF to folks that neither understand it nor care about it. I've been "accumulating 310 stuff for over 40 years and it does add up!
