S.Beck octagon barrel heavy and Octagon rifling

I came across this S.Beck barrel at a garage sale it’s a little rusty and the barrel was packed full of dirt but it’s still in fairly good shape clean the barrel out it’s a little pitted on the inside and outside it’s pretty thick I was thinking I could have somebody build a rifle out of it

i’m wondering if anybody’s ever heard S.Beck be for

    The measurements
    across flat to flat 1-1/8
    long 40-5/8
i think it is a 45 or 44 a .440 ball wold just about fill the rifling out

Only Beck I've ever heard of was John Phillip Beck who was a notable Pa longrifle maker . Does it have vent hole for flint or a drum and nipple set up ?
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

You could send that barrel to Bobby Hoyt and have it drilled and re-rifled,,,,
