In normal times I could give you the values. Not today. What gauge the MEC is, will narrow the valuation. If it's .410, $200. even in somewhat rough shape.
The MEC's are complete I think. I glanced in the box and everything looked to be present. I've loaded for decades but never shot shell.
I'll check Thursday on gauge. (He's closed on Wednesday) He offered all of it to me for $150. It sounded like a good deal but wanted to check.
Thanks,
Stephen
You should see what those machines sell for on ebay and then thank me later.
HOLLYWOOD Collector Left hawg 405#, right one 315#, had my elderly neighbors granddaughter treed and why I got the call. Both charged, one from 20' and one from 40'. Thanks to the good Lord and Samuel Colt I won. May God bless our Lawmen & Soldiers!
What model of MEC loader, progressive or single stage. Either way I would probably jump on that deal.

I would have already taken them home just for the 366 .
What's the one in the first pic? Again, I've never loaded shot shell and have no idea what I'm looking at.
Thanks,
Stephen
I don't know what gage or model the Mec loader is Jr , 650 , grabber , or 9000 but they are good loaders . I'm a big fan of the Pacific / Hornady 366s built like a tank and will last forever if taking care of , the photo shows it to look like it's in good shape not rusted . Hornady still has parts available for the 366 + powder and shot bushings are available . A few years ago I couldn't find a decent 366 for under 350. In 12 or 20 let alone 410 or 28 so I went with Mec progressive loaders .
Hornady took over Pacific & continued production of the 366 loaders - although there are a few handicaps loading shells on them compared to a more modern loader like the extra step in sizing , and final tapered crimp they are a well built loader . Find out what the Mec is , and what gage they are . Remember it cost quite a bit to load shot shells compared to purchasing a box or 2 once in a while .
Agree that 12 ga isn’t worth loading cost savings wise. But I can load any type load I need when I need them, not having to scurry around looking for shells is worth something, or a LOT in today’s climate. I always wanted to pick up a 366, that one looks nice. If it happens to be a 16 gage, I would be happy to dispose of it for you, nobody wants those old things

I can see a wood handle poking out of one of the mec boxes so that press is probably not a 600jr.
you need to identify models of loaders in the boxes and what caliber are they. if there is a 650 you will need a super sizer.
are the powder and primer tubes there for the 366
how much are they asking? one good thing on both the mec and pacific is parts are available with little to no problem getting them
I have started to turn away from MEC's at auctions I just have too many.
25.00 to 35.00
If universal Charge Bar In the unit and bottles good. $ 50.00 to $ 60.00
650 jr, Versa, and mark 5 all good loaders.
Primers are getting hard to find again. Maybe the as bad I have ever seen it.
Shot is high at 42 for 25 pounds.
Hulls are easy enough for common loads.
410 highest, then 16 Ga, 20 and then 12.
10 Gauge is well find what you can when you can.
$150 is a good deal. MEC's and I do not get along but many people like them. Fine for making a few boxes of hunting loads or slug loads.

I paid 3
$350. For mine. So it's a great deal.

The press in the picture is not a MEC, it's a Hornady/Pacific DL-366. It's a great press.
old presses are big problems you cant get parts . stay with new stuff.
only shotgun is mec and they have parts for the most part
that 366 is is trash
For $150 get all of it and sort it out later. You better hurry because a deal like that won't last for more than a few hours.

Six months ago I would tell you to pass on this deal, because you can't load shot shells as cheap as you can get them from the BOX STORES.... ($19.99 per hundred)
BUT
In todays market (at least where I'm at) all of local stores (Walmart & Meijer) stopped selling ammo all together and the others (Rural King, TSC, Ace Hardware, Dicks, Field & Stream, Cabela's, Bass Pro, Dunams) never have anything in stock.
So $150 is an an AWESOME deal, ONLY if you can find supplies so you can to load yourself.
OR
Resale on FLEABY for a profit .....

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.
I didn't notice the $150 for all three before
I would not walk back to that store but run and grab those machines for $150. the 366 without the tubes is easily worth that. and at that price who cares what models of mecs they are, being that the 366 is a top shelf reloader there might just be a pair of 9000's in the boxes.
let us know if you get them and exactly what is in those mec boxes.
