I have 1 it is a very accurate rifle. Mine is the varmint model. Here's a link you might find interesting.

It is a little challenging to reload for and have found that using a factory crimp die is better then roll crimping, you can't find once fired cases and it is really fun to shoot. I get regular sub moa groups out of it. The trigger is a real joy. You'll like it.

Steve, the varmint model is the one I want, I can't find one right now. I work part time at a local gun shop and the guys know I want one.

I also have the varmint model. Only tried factory in it so far and have not even gotten to reload for it yet. Very accurate. Waiting on a coyote that was around to try her out.

I have the varmint model also. I've found it to be very accurate with factory ammo and more so with my jacketed handloads.

If you reload I suggest looking into flaring the case mouth for any bullet, cast or jacketed as it is very easy to crush the shoulder or buckle the case of you get a bullet even a little crooked. Then as I said use a factory crimp die to close the flare. Our range was closed most of the summer and fall so have not had the opportunity to work on cast reloading. By the by, I use standard CCI small rifle primers and they give me the same accuracy as factory loads, Litl Gun powder has worked best for me too for j words.

I suspect cast will have a limit similar to a 22lr for plain base and maybe 2300 for the GC boolit. Most say 223s are small wait till you start with these rice grains. Lol

I do reload, but I have sausage fingers so I may have trouble with a 17.
