WTS/WTT Redfield Peep Sight for Winchester 94

    Folks,

I purchased this from a gent on another site with the hopes that it would work for a 1950’s Marlin. It does not fit with Marlin as I’d hoped, and would be happy to trade for a similar peep sight (Lyman or Redfield) that will fit my Marlin, or sell for $175 shipped.

...Let me clarify. This sight does fit the mounting holes of my Marlin. The sight is just not designed wide to fit a Marlin, and the windage adjustment screws don’t allow the peep elevation to drop enough. I’d need to change out the front sight to get the elevation that I need.

Every lever action I ever mounted a receiver sight on required a change of front sight, I doubt a different sight will change that if that's the problem.

Do you have any pictures of the mounting portion?

Folks, I’m afraid I’ve come to learned my expectations for fitment were wrong. I know now that whatever peep I put on this old Marlin will need to have a new front sight to make it work as needed. So...I’m going to keep this old Redfield and be happy.

Thanks for everyone’s interest and support.
