    thumblers B belt

    i have looked in the past but cant find the post
    there is a seal that vinton makes that is replacement for the Thumblers B {belt} i had one and mouse thought it would taste good,
    mcmasters or granger ?
    help ? with the number

    Not McMaster-Carr or Graingers, but strangely enough the o-ring seal from a Toyota (actually a Lexus 3.5L V6 but the same thing) oil filter cover works perfectly. You need to wipe the oil off completely, but the size is perfect and I bet the mice won't chew on it. Who knows, the whole oil filter might be cheaper than ordering the o-ring from either of the mentioned suppliers. Mine is a Model A R-12 and is smaller than a B, but not by much. I've probably bought half a dozen from Thumlers over the years and they always break over time. More from lack of use than anything else it seems.

    Presently using a vacuum cleaner belt for a Eureka RD2
    400/1400/1900/2000/5000/6400/7500
    I take it that all these # are model #

    According to my notes the O ring is 3 3/4 ID x 4 1/8 OD x 3/16 CS

    If you are talking about the belt that turns the Tommy's Tumbler, I bought one at a vacuum cleaner shop for a dollar.
