Can you use 45 Schofield dies to reload 45 Colt (ala using 38 special to load 357 for example)?
Thank you!

Probably it depends on the die set . I have a Hornady set marked 45 acp or 45 colt but some dies may not have enough adjustment to crimp a shorter case.
If it looks like your crimp die has enough adjustment to it it should work.
I use an old RCBS .45ACP set to load mine, with a Redding crimp die.
I HATE auto-correct
Happiness is a Warm GUN & more ammo to shoot in it.
My Experience and My Opinion, are just that, Mine.

I realize I can’t full length size, but if it’s used in the same revolver should not be a problem with case extraction right? Only reason I ask is because of current times I can purchase a Lee 45 Schofield die set but not a 45 Colt die set.
We have to be creative in these times.
