Took the 308 out to the range today while it was somewhat warmer today (39 degrees) for a short while. Had a few loads to try. I used Accurate 2015br and Accurate MRP, which should be surplus 4831. Pretty well a full case of the MRP. I have had luck with an '06 with this powder. I use mag primers with the MRP

Speeds with the 2015br should be around 2000fps and the MRP loads should be close to 2200fps. Didn't feel like getting out the chrony.

Lower left group is with the NOE copy of Saeco 315 and the lower right is with the NOE 310-196-fp. Both sized .311" and lubed with carnuba blue. WCWW's or real close 3.5%sb, 1.5%sn and 0.125%as

Shot at 50yds. Will go to 100yds once I get a better scope on the rifle.

Center was my 1889 Marlin in 44-40. Fingers getting a bit numb.
