I have drilled small holes across the crack and injected epoxy/glue then used my air hose gun with a rubber tip on the hole to gently force the glue into the hole and crack.

Well, I got the cracks epoxied. I haven't drilled and filled any holes through the cracked area yet. There just isn't a whole lot of room in this slim wristed stock. I will give it a serious look when I start to put it together and bed the stock to the receiver. I do have concerns that the stock has been subjected to a lot of gun oil and wonder how secure the epoxy will hold. I guess time will tell. Still a work in progress. Brad.
an old trick is to run some 1/16 inch brazing rod thru a threading die and coat with epoxy then screw into a pre drilled hole to reinforce the thin area
I have repaired about a dozen of these type splits in Franchi shotguns, over the last 37 years. They are lightweight guns that recoil heavily. I have never know of one of my repairs failing. I always used acraglass and did exactly as described above. There are a lot of epoxies out there, but the acraglass is made specifically to use in gun related applications. I have guns that have been hunted hard, with acraglass repairs for 20+ years, good as new.
