Good mold for 300blk and 7.62x25

    I have both a 300blk AR platform and a SKS 7.62x39.
Was looking for a good mold to cast for both if possible.
Thinking 150gr or so and plan to run supersonic.
Thanks in advance for any advice

Hands down the Lee 312-155 2r...

Known performance in both calibers...it's my go to for 300 blk.

I powder coat mine, size it to .309 and shoot them by the boat load. Cycles like a dream

    Cool
Do you run a gas check on them after you PC or just run without one?

hands down best mold for supersonic in the 30s for me has been the 130 rcbs spitzer gas check. Ive got 4 black outs a ham'r and its given me at least 2moa groups in all of them. Ive pushed that bullet pc'd in my ham'r to near 2400 fps with good accuracy. Its also fun in my ruger american BO with 4 grains of unique and a can. It sounds like an air rifle going off and still shot a one inch 50 yard group. I see no advatage what so ever to running a supersonic 150 cast over a 130 cast in a bo. Even 130 jacketed are on the slow side for serious work. 110s work much better on deer sized game. Sad thing is your going to have to search far and wide to find one of those molds. I bought a second one last fall and they were very scarce. i dont know if rcbs discontinued them or they were in just in high demand. But if you want bo accuracy that IS the bullet you want.

7.62x25 isn't what the SKS uses.

My vote would be the MP 311410 clone. In fact it's what I use.

My mistake should have been 7.62x39
My phone put the 25 with auto correct. I had been talking to someone about the 7.62x25 Tokarev

Do you happen to have a model number.
So I can start to look for one?

Do you have a problem sizing down the 314 to 309?

    I size to .310

Too tell the truth I have both diameters of that mold.

The .314 with gas check and the .310 plain base.

If I want the .314 down to .310 I first size to .312 then to .310
