Vihtavouri 24N41 SLOW powder for CAst Bullets?????

I just came into an 8 pound jug of this 24N41 powder.
Their site tells me it is Very Slow/large sticks, for use in 50 BMG and 338 Lapua, etc.
Has anyone used it for cast bullet shooting in more conventional/smaller cartridges
    such as '06, 308, 45-70,etc

    Arnie:

Never used it, but I think you are gonna have a difficult time in 308 and 45-70, maybe, and I mean maybe, with real heavy bullets in '06. I guess it would get the bullet out the barrel in any of your applications, but only with lots of unburned powder left behind. Trade it to someone with a big magnum for something in the 4895 range.
