    there were a lot of different models made through the years, I just today saw a 1962 texan deluxe, absolutely beautiful,
    the old 336A's with 24" barrels were nice, I tend to like the ones made though the 60's and 70's with gold plated triggers the best
    I'm not sure how many variations but the ones without the front barrel band tend to be a bit more accurate, they made cheap models with birch stocks and deluxe models with premium hand cut checkered walnut furniture and everything in between.
