I found out yesterday that Christian Psychotherapy Services - the company I had worked for - ended business last week and closed doors of four offices this morning. I spent the night in prayer and called around to all the local Christian therapists I know to let them know that over 100 therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners would all be looking for work. I also told everyone that in my opinion the medical people had first priority for offices. Over half of my clients are schizophrenic's or bipolar or both and need medication first.
One of the guys I know relatively well offered me the opportunity to work at home online - I only have about 18 months before intended retirement - and bill through his company and pay me a higher percentage of what I make than I have had ever. I'll be meeting with him and his office manager tomorrow at 10AM to make the arrangements. I'll be able to work in the comfort of my home and do well.
When God closes one door He certainly opens another!
