    Potter lead hardness tester

Many years ago a friend whom I have since lost track of, showed me a Potter lead hardness tester that he had. I cannot recall all of the details of this tester, but it used a weight on the end of a beam. Somewhere on the mechanicals, there was a penetrator point and a hardness scale. I remember him telling me that you lowered the weighted beam until the penetrator just made contact with the sample to be tested, then released the beam. He advised that the tests results were very repeatable and accurate. Does anyone have one of these testers? If so, I would like pictures of it, or even better, to purchase it.
