    Had my bisley45 colt up over 1100 f.p.s last weekend,close to 1200.
Mp 270saa mold, felix lube..just a couple flecks of lead in the throat,,75 rds,,and this alloy is 8.5 bn,,,had my throats reamed,,and can now shoot heavyloads, apparently with soft lead,as well!!

Wow, nice pistol. Any shots taken before reaming? Results? I don't have a Bisley, but do have a Ruger OM Vaquero in 45 Colt. It was used, but according to the previous owner, it had never seen any real cartridges, only wax. He bought the New model and they are nice. Too bad he replaced the factory springs to lighten his pistol for quick draw competitions. The OMs are SBH framed and can take some, uh, heat? Fun to shoot, same velocities but with a 4 5/8" barrel.

I have another OM Vaquero, but in 38-40/40 S&W (spare cylinder) and prefer the factory springs. Yes, I know they are cheap and easy to replace, but I know a guy and he gets all of my business.
