36.00. Normally I prefer AA's also but I am planning to cut these down shorter to use with Blackpowder in my 1887 lever shotgun, so the ribs don't matter.

I have read somewhere that these can be reloaded using data for Federal hulls, is that correct?

I believe it depends on the head stamp, I think I read that estate used Cheddite and Rio.

Unless it has changed recently, Estate 2 3/4" hulls should be Federal paper base hulls. They can be loaded with the old Federal top gun paper basewad data.

Must have changed, those certainly aren't paper. And the last time I did the shotgun qualification we used Estate and they were plastic. Course that was more than 20 years ago.

The hull is plastic, the base wad is (was) paper. I only load then once (as the base erodes with every load) using TopGun data. But I have not used any of recent manufacture, but easy to tell if base is plastic or paper.

I've seen two versions of these hulls both paper or plastic base wads.
