    .380 ACP 68Gn copper

Have a reloading buddy, 82yo, bought a box of 68 Gn copper bullets from Midway. Wants to load in .380 for his daughter.
Lyman 50th shows 90Gn load but not 68Gn.
I’m at a loss as to how much and which powder would be best to start with?
I personally don’t load for that caliber, so he will loan me a 380 pistol to try thru my Chrono.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

68 is odd. I'd look at 68 and 80 grn load data and treat it like a light 70.

You can always use trailboss safely.. but it will likely not cycle an auto real well.

    Heres the data I have.

THIS IS A 56 GRAIN BULLET.

This is the corrected data Inception lists for the ARX Phillips tip shaped bullet.

Thanks for the info. Went to the Lehigh web sight and sent the info to him all way to +p if he wants to go that high. He can make them and I can test them thru his pistol since all mine are 9mm to 44magnum.

If it is this same bullet Underwood loads , these averaged about 1290 FPS from a Ruger lcp ii
    And 1350 FPS from my CZ 83 , a peppy 380 load
