    Yes I did mean the same Olde Eynsford FFFg granulation. The 35g load duplicates the original performance of ~900+ fps from a 7.5" barrel. I keep 50 or 100 of those on hand to show other people new to black powder cartridges what the real 45 Colt was like to shoot.

    My aging arthritic fingers and swollen knuckles don't like a steady diet of 35g so my practice and having fun load is the 32g version. I haven't chronographed it but I'd bet it's in the mid to upper 800 fps range, depending on barrel length.

    PS: If my hand gets beat up as badly as it did the last time out (a total of 95 rounds through two different revolvers) I may consider dropping back to 30g. Oh the humanity. Oh the wimpiness!
