    Needed Gas Block

If you have been following my threads you will see I am trying to get together parts to build a 9mm on an Ar15 lower. Have a barrel coming but I need an old no longer good gas block to use for installing a standard type handguard that I already have. Needs something for that front ring to rest against. So if you have one that is no longer any good I sure could use it. or have a thought as to what I might use in place of one for a .650 dia. barrel please let me know.

Are you going for a flat top? Or would a A-2 front sight work?

It used to be they cut the sight portion of the a-2 front sight leaving the gas block and hand guard mount. Use a new hack saw blade they are forged SS and cut hard

Before you go cutting, be aware that barrels will use different sized gas blocks, when you get the barrel you'll need to measure with a caliper where the block sits, that'll be the size block you will need.
"People in Arizona carry guns," said Detective David Ramer, a Chandler police spokesman. You better be careful about who you are picking on...

I will do that, waiting for the barrel to come in

Barrel arrived, looks like it will take a .650 block.
