    PC'd .177s

Since starting to pc I'm no longer liking to handle lead so, just for fun I dumped a tablespoon full of .177 pellets in a container without black bbs with my fave color pc and coated them. I shook them for a minute and dropped them on the shake container cover to get the pc out of the hollow base.

Then I dropped them onto a silicone sheet and baked. They came out with pretty good coverage but the next time I will drop them on a piece of wire mesh screen.

I couldn't chrono them but they are as accurate as the plain lead.

    Designer pellets... Cool
    Regards,

    Gary

Well, they have a 3/3 rat kill ratio now so I'm happy. I'm going to go get some wire mesh screen tomorrow and do all 500 (well 450 something anyway) that I have.

Did you wash them first to remove the mill wax coating?

Nope, dumped them in a baggie and coated. I'm using Crossman Copperhead pellets, these do not appear to be lubed.
