    RIP General Yeager.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.

I know he's been welcomed with open arms into the Kingdom of Heaven. While he's left this earthly plain, the General's legacy continues, and soon there'll be angels with new wing prototypes.

He was a real aviation pioneer with guts to spare. He'll certainly be remembered for a long, long time.

God bless Gen. Yeager and his memory. Heroes like him don't happen often, and now, with initiative and industriousness being devalued, I wonder what kind of "heroes" we'll have in the future. When I was a kid, I knew Mickey Mantle to be a celebrity, but my heroes were always those dauntless men who fought WWII. Celebrities are being pushed off as "heroes" today. Don't fall for it. Most of them are cowards and pretenders. NOT anyone we should follow or "worship."
