My first 45 winmag, looking for loads

Just bought a nib LAR grizzly mk1. Will post pics when I wait my 10 days.
Looking for loads that work in this beast.
Found a 6.5" barreled gun with muzzle brake, came from a gun shop owners collection and never fired.
Have been looking for a Wildey but after 10 years looking here in calif this was the next best thing and a lot better price.

What propellants are you likely to use for it?
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. Ecclesiastes 1:18
He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool become servant to the wise of heart. Proverbs 11:29

The gun room in Elk Grove. They are closing the end of this month. Lost the lease on building.
Not much left, just some of the owners collection.

I don't have a 45 win. Mag but several of my manuals have data in them . Perhaps someone will post that has loaded for it.
Do you have a particular bullet in mind that you want to try ?

I had a LAR 45mag. I only loaded about 60rds for it before I traded it off. I used 2400 powder and I forget bullet. I still have a few loads and 20rd box factory ammo. I will check my notes for correct load.

That's the round the Ruger bolt actions (77/45) should have been chambered for.
    Nice find!

I have molds for 230 rn, 245rf, I think the 180 and 200 swcs would be to light for this gun

I use 230 grain jacketed bullets, and 2400 at about the same charge I would use for a 240 grain .44 Mag. Published load data seems to bear that out, too.
When I get around to trying cast bullets in it, I'll probably do the same: load it as if it were a .44 Mag.
I'm shooting it in a Ruger Redhawk, so YMMV.

Sad news. And that's after losing Wild Sports in Orangevale. The Good Old local shops are closing.

    260 grain jacketed: 24.5 - 26.5 H110; 19.0 - 21.0 2400; 10.0 - 12.0 Unique.
    300 grain jacketed: 18.0 - 20.0 H110; 14.0 - 16.0 2400.
    On the lighter side, 200 grain jacketed: 27.5 - 29.5 H110; 22.5 - 24.5 2400; 13.0 - 15.0 Unique; 14.5 - 16.5 HS-6.
