CVA Prospector Pistol Kits. Another project I just can’t seem to get into. A pair of 44 caliber single shot black powder pistol kits from CVA. These kits are offered pretty much just the way I found them (I removed some light surface rust). The frames had already been assembled and seem to be done so correctly. One set of grips have been sanded but the other has not. Barrels need to have the barrel brackets fitted. Missing one nipple, otherwise the parts needed to finish both pistols are included. Also includes an assembly instruction manual.
As noted I removed some rust when I got them. Outside of the barrels had some light surface rust, probably from handling, and I took it off with a wire wheel. You may find a little here and there and I didn’t do anything with the frames. Brass will probably need polishing as well. Bores are unfired. Barrels and frames are still in the white.
