Thank you for those photos and info. Dixie did sell rim fire adapters years back. Not sure if they still do.
Have seen that basic idea used on a 44 rim fire SS. Worked well and far surpassed paying $4 a shot for 80 year old ammo.

Here, only count one side, points have to be over 1” and, brow tines don’t count making it a beautiful three pointer from my point of view
