    Win. 52 / Anschutz ?

    I was told a Win.52 mag. will fit a Anschutz 1516 rifle is this true? Thanks - Jerry

    I don't think so. But the cheap Savage mags Brownells sells will if you cut the locking notch in the back with a file. I have a pile of those for silhouette matches so I don't have to keep loading mags. They're about $12 each, where the Anschutz mags are $85 and the only difference is the cute plastic cap on the bottom once you get them fit.

    Probably. I just checked and they don't seem to have them any more. Maybe look around and see if anybody else has mags like that.

    Looks like your info was likely correct. These were all I have been able to find, and they do look like the right ones though twice the price they used to be.
