    Pedersoli 50-70 Sharps

    Anybody loading for a Pedersoli Sharps 1874 50-70 with Swiss 1 1/2 would like to share some reloading info

    I have one, the "Long Range" model with 34" barrel. My load is 70gn Swiss 1 1/2, a Federal LP primer and a 450gn Lyman boolit. A very accurate combination.

    Here is a pic of the two loads that I use,

    !) Lyman 450gn seated to be just 0.010" short of the rifling

    2) CBE 510gn seated so the first driving band engages into the rifling
