    Thermometer Accuracy

    My lead thermometer now reads much less than zero when not in use. I don’t think it reads correctly when in use. Can you adjust them? The brand is NOE and has only been used about 10 times.

    Look and see if there is a nut on the back side of the dial, if there is then you should be able to adjust the zero on the scale. Drop the probe into boiling water and adjust the scale until the pointer reads 210*
