If you recast into small ingots having a good strait shooter rep here is a help.

I've seen mentioned using strips of wood around the sides and thin plywood for the top and bottom and well taped prior to loading up the box. Inertia is a wonderful thing. But not when your ingots break through the box. And putting the customer's address in the box as well on the plywood is another good idea. I sent some big and expensive lathe tool blanks and I thought well packed. All the guy got was an empty box and the PO did squat. Now I know better. Frank

I would probably try selling it local, FTF. I am one of those guys that really doesnt like to get type metal in ingots because I really have no idea what it is & many that do reduce large ingots dont make them small enough. I got some in a trade, guy sent me 20#/10" frying pan size ingots. My fault, should have asked, but what am I supposed to do with that? So yes, had to melt them down & poured 1# ingots.
