    "They" have a problem.

Who is going to take the guns? They have defunded the police.

    Military can't do domestic.

Well, I guess the Blue helmet guys might try, but good luck with that.

Us turning them in is their only option, good luck with that. There is plenty of ammo to go with plenty of guns.

as powder gets more and more difficult to get there will be more and more new shooters wondering how they can reload 9mm with 4831 and stuff like that

I'm betting the uncertainty will go on for quite a while, guns/ammo will not likely be the first order of business for JOHO&Co. There just isn't dc sized money involved for the interested parties.

Same process as did that in Australia ?
I know we in US keep thinking that we have the Constriction on our side... but if the highest office election can be stolen, do we ?

Why do we think we are different than the Australians ?

    I stopped at Cabelas today.
They had a decent selection of powders. No primers. Plenty of dies. Some brass. I was looking for brass for my Argentine mauser. No luck. I didn't buy any thing . Didn't hurt to look. So if anyone is near the Hamburg Pa store. And needs powder desperately. It's an option.

Are you familiar with the SCOTUS rulings regarding the second amendment? We must be allowed to keep and bear arms. Anything that makes it impossible to keep and bear arms is unconstitutional and would be thrown out. That would probably include taxes on guns or ammo that make guns and ammo unaffordable for most people. Almost anything else is allowed by the constitution. Banning or high taxes on some guns, limits on magazine capacity, taxes on ammo that make it real expensive to shoot a lot but not so expensive that you couldn't afford to fill a few 10 round magazines at the price of a days labor. The court set a very high bar for something to be consider an infringement of our second amendment rights. Basically if most law abiding people can get and have in their home a gun and ammo that is all that the court says must be assured. The court says you have the right to defend yourself with a firearm in your home. It went so far as to say that since handguns are most peoples first choice for self-defense jurisdictions can't ban handguns. That was back before the conservative majority of SCOTUS justices was as large as it is today.

National bans or high taxes seems unlikely as it would be blocked by the senate even with a Democrat majority because of the filibuster and of course the backlash that would get Democrats in swing states voted out of the senate. Other blue states can follow California, New York, Connecticut etc. can ban or tax whatever guns, ammo, magazines they want if they can pass it in their state up to but not past the point where it becomes a total ban.

Same here. Primers are a lot of work time making and a bit of pain, but safe enough. Also I have to be in the right frame of mind to make them.

Smoky powder isn't as big of a deal to make and used several pounds of it. Smokeless is a bit more work and one really should have equipment to test it when making it for full power rounds. But smokeless for practice rounds isn't to bad, depending on the base one starts with.

By the way, I have at least one gun of each type that has chrome lined barrels to minimize the effects of corrosive salts when using corrosive primers or corrosive powers.

Once you start paying $200.00 for a tax stamp for EACH semi-auto gun (AR's, shotguns, and pistols - revolvers are OK - for now) you ALREADY own and an additional $200.00 for EACH 10+ round magazine you ALREADY own (or pay a fine per occurrence of $10K / 10 years in the pen) who cares about primers and powders! Bozo O'Rourke's storm troupers will be checking every gun range, shooting parlor, and back-woods holler for those stamps and "papers, please" proof of your payment.

Just hope and pray we win the Republican seats in GA!!!!!!! My hope for Trump's pulling this election reversal off is now down to <10%.

We don't need the GA seats, SCOTUS is Packed and we have the filibuster. Won't even need a filibuster, some democrats will not vote for gun control. Joe Manchin for one.

Powder shortage already occurred here a couple of months ago. First it was the more popular rifle powders, then the popular pistol powders, and now everything is gone locally.

When things were starting to disappear in February and March, I stocked up enough for a year, thinking most shortages are over and I would be fine. Now, it's been almost a year and no end in sight.

I think the new normal should be to stock up enough for at least 5 years.

I think I am familiar. Although I am far from being educated in history or in law.

But stealing election by voter fraud covered up by 'plausible deniability' defense, is unconstitutional as well, I assume.

If the fraud results will be thrown out, I would believe that SCOTUS can protect the Constitution.

Otherwise, gradual de-Constitutionalization of the country is very believable and may be inevitable.

The detailed mechanisms may still be unclear, but the overall strategy of 'slow boiling a frog' with periodic pacification of suspecting populous (usually by pretense of opposition by the RINOs) , is very clear.

Sometimes I feel (but have no evidence of this) ... that GOP voters, voting RINOs (eg Bush, McCain, Romney, Collins, Boehner, P. Ryan, etc) -- is what actual embolden the enemies of the Republic to go as aggressively and as deep as they did in the last decade or so.

I do not disagree with what you are saying, but one can come up with 100s of ways to, gradually, make firearm ownership by general public, illegal.

Living through a real anti-constitutional coup, is not something that most of us have experience with....

And, therefore, we probably do not have the type of 'immune system' that would help us to detect small traces of malignancy, especially if it is administered little-by-little throughout all the channels of influence.

Last year I finally got into primers from the beginning of the BOZO years. Where I am short is soft lead. Linotype i have more than I will ever need. But as I am running out of soft to mix it with I am probably going to just shoot all lino. FIL bought out a printing shop and also bought several thousand lbs at auctions. He past away and I got most of it.
I'm the opposite. I've got pure lead but no typeset. Hmmm

I think you need to be able to load what you expect to need. For life. This amount might be less than you think. After load development for my sons 35 rem he shot 3 rounds. 2 more than needed. That box has 5years of hunting left. If you want to go to war make sure you have your will done

No comment on the price, but I think it’s good thing selling small quantities of primers to various individuals, instead of letting one or two buy them all. That’s taking care of his customers.

Don’t be too hard on him. Primers are going for four times that amount on gunbroker.

Tim, if the dems take Georgia, the SCOTUS will not remain at 9, they will put in as many as needed to fulfill their agenda. There is also a high probability that with that with the senate majority, the filibuster will disappear and they will convert a few territories into statehood. These “NEW” states “WILL” side with the dems..... the dems will forever rule the country! Our Republic, Our Constitution, our Bill of Rights will cease to exist! The marxists/socialists/democrats have been slowly driving our nation in that direction since the early 1900’s (President Wilson)! memtb
